The last day of August? Really?

It was wisdom for divorced parents with author Len Stauffenger, a divorced father of two. Len chatted about his book, Getting Over It! and advised keeping the big picture in mind and being the hero in your children's lives.

The Home Safety Council and Babies "R" Us helped us raise awareness and provide resources to keep young children safe in the home. Meri-K Appy, president of the HSC, gave us the startling statistics regarding accidental infant and chlid injuries and tips on making your home a safer place for little ones.

Jon is out of the studio yet again this morning as he spends time back in the Mother Land of Detroit for some R&R. Joey T sits in for the big guy and would have kept the live blog updated throughout the morning if he wasn't busy gawking at Maria LaRosa, the new anchor on The Weather Channel. Lookin' good, girl!

- The Wisconsin State Fair gets underway later this week and we'll be handing out tickets right here on K107.1 to Jordin Sparks, The Steve Miller Band and Three Dog Night. We gave some out today and listen for your next chance to win.
