Where did this week go???????

Wow, I can't believe how quickly this week flew by. I have to admit that I've been a lazy blogger which means I haven't been blogging at all! Today's show was pretty informative, I think. Check out the following websites if you missed it. You'll find a great book that helps girls figure how to find the college of their dreams--go to www.jayefenderson.com for details. Information about dealing with financial crisis in your relationship is at www.takingspace.com. Enroll your 3 to 8 year old in "Music Around the World" at the Children Museum of Fond du Lac at the Windhover Center for the Arts. Check out www.cmfdl@sbcglobal.net for details. Stephanie Korb is a wonderful teacher and your kids will love her as well as her class.
See you Tuesday!! (I'm off for a family reunion this weekend--if I survive it, that is!!).

Yeah for Hump Day!

Okay, so I was a little itty bit grumpy today........all right, so I was a big B! Sorry, I'm sure I'll feel better tomorrow. Although I must admit chewing the fat with Jon does put me in a better mood AND talking to our listeners when you call in. So, as Scarlet O'Hara said, "Tomorrow is another day."

Rainy Days and Mondays

Oh well, so it's crappy out. We wouldn't appreciate the sunshine if we didn't have a few clouds every now and then, right?
If you want more information on that great book written by Peg Tyre called, "The Trouble With Boys", log onto www.pegtyre.com and learn what battles our boys are facing in the realm of education these days and what you can do about it.
It's always nice to visit with Susan Anderson, our favorite medium. If you'd like to talk to Susan and have her read you over the telephone, call her at 941-587-8550. You can also check out www.bridgingtwoworlds.net.
Tuesday is just around the corner which means we'll give away a new release DVD, another dorky anniversary prize and The Skinny Bitch is back!! Their newest book is about pregnancy entitled, "Skinny Bitch: Bun in the Oven" and these women don't sugar coat any of their advice to our Moms-to-Be! If you're planning a wedding, you NEED to get Mindy Weiss's book, appropriately called "The Wedding Book" (now available in paperback).
Have a great Monday and see you later!

Have a GREAT Weekend!!

What about that book written by Mike Gill--"How Starbucks Saved My Life"?!?!?!? I read the entire book and it was a great read (made me want to run right out to Starbucks for a latte!). Go to our www.amazon.com store and order it. Tom Hanks is gonna make it into a movie and it will be a good one!!
True confession time--yes, I, Mary McGuire, am a clutterer!! But I'm reading Mike Nelson's book, "Stop Clutter From Stealing Your Life". Log onto www.clutterless.org and find out how you can rid yourself of that awful mess.
Have a great weekend everyone and we'll see you Monday when Jon and I tell you all about our big anniversary bash next Friday at The Shack. If you're the parents of boys, you'll want to tune in on Monday. We talk to the author of "The Trouble with Boys: A Surprising Report Card on Our Sons, Their Problems at School, and What Parents and Educators Must Do." Wow--that title is a mouthful but the content sounds very enlightening (I feel like I could write a book about the trouble with girls!!!!). We also have our medium Susan Anderson joining us Monday to recap the success of the Brain Candy Project fundraiser held the end of August. We'll be taking your calls if you want to ask Susan a question.
Have a great weekend everyone. Peace.
