Friday 12/18 Live Blog

Just ONE WEEK 'til the big X-Day and we're still scrambling a bit when it comes to cool and unique gift ideas. Mary suggested we remember the "reason for the season" and get the Jesus Saves bank for our close family, friends, associates, and hangers-on. Great idea! Get yours here and start paving that Highway to Heaven with dimes & nickels (cue the harps...).

Spike, the man with the pigskin scalp, stopped in for our Johnsonville Packer Preview. The Pack head to Pittsburgh this Sunday to face the Steelers. Action starts with a 1 o'clock pregame and kickoff at 3:15 on K107.1.

The Service League's 12 Days of Christmas Cash Raffle found another winner for Day 9. Congratulations to Roberta Shea of Fond du Lac, now $900 richer! And just so you know Roberta, Jesus has volunteered to help you save that extra cash.

Brian Carter gave us a few ways to incorportate fresh seafood into our holiday feasts and parties. Get your own expert advice by calling Brian at 517-TUNA or stopping by Fond du Lac Seafood on Main Street downtown.

Movie man Tony Meade popped in with a pair of new releases in theaters today. James Cameron's big, expensive, and blue Avatar tries to earn back its budget and Hugh Grant goes into witness protection with Sarah Jessica Parker in Did You Hear About the Morgans? Click on k107.com for a full listing of movies and showtimes presented by Fox Valley Wellness Center.
