Thursday 2/24 Live Blog

So long, Discovery. Our fondest memory will always be the time we went on a double date. Me and my girlfriend, you and that industrial-sized trash compactor. It was a drive-in movie, I recall. A midnight showing of Star Wars followed by milkshakes at Denny's. You cheered when the Death Star first appeared on screen and cried when it got blown to smithereens. Good times, old friend.

Weekend Buzz took us on an odyssey of events for February's last stand. Family fun rules at The Paine, the Bucks host the Bulls, and Taste of Fond du Lac is back! Get a full list on the Air-Tech Community Calendar at k107.com.

Eleanor Brown joined us to talk about her debut novel, The Weird Sisters. Explore the dynamic and strange Andreas family in the book, now in stores.

We talked Academy Awards with Movies.com critic Dave White. Contenders? Pretenders? Dave gave us a jump at finally winning the office Oscar pool. Catch the ceremony this Sunday night on ABC, with coverage from the red carpet starting right about nnnnnnow.
