So this is what it feels like when you realize you no longer need a TV. When an icon like Gene Shalit announces his retirement from the Today show, is there really a reason to continue the foolish pursuit of quality televised entertainment? Please, child.

Jon & Mary are back after a 3-day weekend! (hushed applause) Jon was off celebrating his birthday, Mary was off honing her Michael Caine impersonation...or was that the other way around? Either way, quite an impressive way to spend a day off.

Fans are still buzzing over the beatdown at Lambeau on Sunday night, and so we rolled out our Packer Postgame Report presented by Duffy's Sports Pub a day late. Quite a Halloween, indeed.
