Wednesday 9/30 Live Blog

Bad news AC/DC fans, the boys have postponed their October 14 Milwaukee show due to lead singer Brian Johnson's "undisclosed" illness. On the other hand, they just announced today that November 10 is the release date for their limited edition box set Backtracks. It includes every AC/DC song ever and a working amp?!? Get it for the low low price of $199. (apologies that we used a pedestrian slash between the "AC" and the "DC"...the lightning bolt on our keyboard is not working...)

Mercy Medical Center and Affinity Health System host a Community FREE Day today at The Paine Art Center and Gardens. Enjoy the Masterpieces of American Photography exhibit, the Family Discovery Gallery, and all The Paine has to offer for a simple non-perishable food donation.

Tuesday 9/29 Live Blog

Okay, so all day yesterday Jon made a really BIIIIIIIIIIG deal out of how his Detroit Lions finally won, and that "the road the Super Bowl starts with a single step...blah blah blah..." In all the excitement, there was nary a mention of the Lions HUUUUUUUUGE victory on our blog. For shame. It was such an event, even Tom Cruise was climbing the railing at Ford Field (that's him right in the center of the picture...he's in the D filming a movie or something).

Maranda from Snap Fitness stopped by to make our final two winners for Snap's Anniversa-FREE celebration. Congrats to Abbey and Tim, who each scored a 3-month membership.

Our Blockbuster New Release Tuesday finds Monsters vs. Aliens on DVD today, along with a few other forgettable selections. Mariah Carey's new album also hits stores and is available a full digital download for only $5.99 at Amazon.
