The last day of August? Really?

We kicked those August blues with another Nick-n-Willy's New Release Tuesday. Today's DVD offerings include Marmaduke, Harry Brown, and Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married Too? Musical drops are highlighted by albums from the Goo Goo Dolls, Heart, Disturbed, and Now That's What I Call Music 35.

Award-winning chef and food entertainer Ted Reader gave us a few great recipes to close out our summer this Labor Day Weekend. Ted introduced us to his new book, Napoleon's Everyday Gourmet Burgers, in collaboration with Napoleon's Gourmet Grills. Over 300 pages of ground beef deliciousness!

The end of August also means the beginning of school. Marian Sheridan from the Fond du Lac School District joined us with a reminder that the Safe Kid Zone is back for another year. Use caution! No cell phones! No high speeds! No flattened first graders!

Emmys were held last night, meaning the countdown has begun to the Golden Globes! Oh wait...maybe it was the other way around?

A Nick-n-Willy's New Release Tuesday got us all excited about what's new in stores today. Among the DVD highlights: J-Lo in The Back-Up Plan, Andy Garcia in City Island, and The Simpsons: Season 13. Over in the next aisle, CD drops include new stuff from Katy Perry, Usher, Fantasia (still alive), and Little Big Town.

Gaga, meet KISS. KISS, meet Gaga. The nexus of the universe collides again in Milwaukee on September 2 as Lady Gaga brings her show to the Bradley Center, while KISS blasts the lakefront over at the Marcus Amphitheater that very same night.
