Thursday 11/19 Live Blog

Can you tell that Mary made the final decision on our blog photo this morning? The fact that Gerard Butler is a mega-hunk is obvious to most everyone (especially Mary), but when he dangles a potted plant draped in a towel over the railing of his hotel balcony...well, he just becomes that much cooler to all of us.

Weekend Buzz took us on a fly-by of the big events all around the South Valley heading into the holiday season. Big musical fun includes Rob Zombie at The Rave tonight, Martina McBride at the Bradley Center on Sunday, and don't forget Sesame Street Live! at the Brown Co. Arena all weekend. Click on the Zen Body Salon Community Calendar at k107.com for more.

Giving a pet as a gift? "Be prepared!," says Seth Mendelson, editor of Pet Business magazine. Seth joined us with the rules to bringing home a new pet around the holidays (rule #1: wrap them using as little tape as possible). Get the info here.

Jim Brickman stopped by to charm the dickens out of us before his big show tonight at the Fox Cities PAC. Check out Jim's new album, Beautiful World, now in stores.

K107.1 Relationship Guru Bob Buchcchio helped us get ready to turn on our thankfulness at Thanksgiving. Being positive and thankful starts with you! So get up, stuff that turkey, and give thanks for the Packers having the Lions to knock around for another tragic afternoon.
