Wednesday 11/4 Live Blog

"The children were nestled all snug in their beds, with visions of a plastic Bon Jovi dancing in their heads..."

As mentioned on yesterday's show, a new set of Bon Jovi action figures hits stores later this month, just in time for stocking stuffing. Look for Jon, Richie, and Tico in Series 1, with an assortment of leather-clad New Jersey groupies coming out early next year in Series 2.

Asha Camille Jennings speaks tomorrow night at the Windhover Center for the Arts about her efforts to change the way women are portrayed in black culture. She stopped by to welcome everyone to this free event sponsored by the Women's Fund of the Fond du Lac Area Foundation.

One Shoe Blues is an interactive book and DVD starring the legendary B.B. King and his guitar Lucille on a series of kid-friendly adventures. Toss in a few sock puppets and the creativity of Sandra Boynton, and you've got a really unique experience. Sandra joined us with all the details and an invite to her website.

K107.1 Politico Dr. Sean Foreman gave us a rundown on yesterday's election results and how they impact President Obama's next few years in office. Check out Dr. Foreman and maybe take a class at his home campus in Florida, Barry University.

The 22nd edition of Uncle John's Endlessly Engrossing Bathroom Reader is now in stores and Uncle John himself called us from his throne to tell us what was new. Look for even more humor, history, science, and pop culture in over 500 pages! Makes a great gift (just ask Jon's dad).
