Okay, so THIS is now officially autumn. For those who were wringing hands over yesterday being the first day of fall, it didn't actually start until 10:09pm...a scant 111 minutes at the end of the day. Today, my friends, is the day to celebrate with our pal Treebeard. Go nuts.
And so the first day of autumn brings the first "official" autumn edition of your Weekend Buzz. Norman Rockwell has extended his stay at The Paine for another week, the Brewers wrap up the home portion of their season at Miller Park, and Oktoberfest hits College Avenue in Appleton. Find those and a whole slew of activities on the Air-Tech Heating Community Calendar at k107.com.
September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, and we welcomed Dr. John Davis to talk myths & facts regarding the big P. Bottom line, ALL men over the age of 50 should undergo a screening once per year and make healthy lifestyle changes that will help prevent the cancer before it starts.
Dr. Steve Meress wrapped up our show with another look at the bariatric treatment he offers at Fox Valley Wellness Center. Contact Dr. Meress and his staff to find out if you or a loved one qualify for the National Brain Injury Rescue and Rehabilitation Study for returning military personnel.
