Friday 11/12 Live Blog

Sorry ladies, Hulk Hogan has announced his engagement (to 35-year-old daughter look-a-like). Gift registry includes baby oil, baby oil, tank tops, and baby oil.

Author Leslie M.M. Blume was our first guest, reminiscing about the good ol' days. Her new book is called Let's Bring Back, and is an encyclopedia of forgotten, chic, useful, curious, and otherwise commendable things from times gone by. Nice.

The World's Most Organized Man*, Douglas Merrill, joined us with tips to simplify the holidays. Manage your to-do list, unclutter your mind, get set for the rush of seasonal activities. Pick up Douglas' latest book, Getting Organized in the Google Era, now in stores. (*as named by Men's Health magazine)

Check out over 1000 Santas up for auction tomorrow at the Ramada Plaza Hotel in downtown Fond du Lac. Area resident Jim Nintzel has collected them over 50 years and has decided to sell them to benefit Common Grounds at Marian University. Viewing starts at 8:30 tomorrow morning, auction starts at 9.

We wrapped up with a look at what's new in theaters today, and it's all about the older hunks (according to Mary, that is). Harrison Ford stars in Morning Glory, Denzel Washington is Unstoppable, and some hunky aliens attack in Skyline. Click over to k107.com for that full list of local movies and showtimes.
