Thursday 1/22 Live Blog

Top of the show this morning a quick R.I.P. to Heath Ledger, who proved he could play more than just a gay cowboy with his performance in The Dark Knight. Ledger is set to be nominated for an Oscar this morning on the one-year anniversary of his death at the age of 28. Funny enough (back to the gay cowboy theme), the speculation used to be that the character of The Joker was gay, since he came off as so flamboyant with his constant laughing and colorful wardrobe choices. Most of that talk started with Cesar Romero's portrayal in the old Batman TV series, and since then an effort has been made to "butch up" the old boy.

Jeanne Wagner from The Paine Art Center joined us this morning with all the details on another great Saturday in the Family Discovery Gallery. To find a full schedule of events, go to http://www.thepaine.org/.
