Tuesday 1/27 Live Blog

As the countdown to SBXLIII continues, the debate this morning centers around whether or not Cardinal QB Kurt Warner's wife Brenda looks better with her new wig, or in the classic silver spikes. We fell in love with the original Brenda back when Kurt was with the Rams, so put our vote in the "silver" column, although that is one dandy looking wig.

Joey T is in for vacationing Mary this morning, and helped us welcome our first guest Susan Albers with her new book, Eat, Drink & Be Mindful. End your struggle with mindless eating and learn to lose weight by savoring food with intention and joy, says Susan. Makes sense, right? Susan's website has more resources at http://www.eatingmindfully.com/.

Ben Sherwood, the author of The Survivor's Club joined us after 8:00 to detail why some of us seem to be luckier than others and why birthdays and holidays may be hazardous to your health. It's a great read and recommended by Dr. Mehmet Oz and Tom Brokaw. Find Ben online at http://www.thesurvivorsclub.com/.

Our final guest this morning was Tex-Mex Expert (texpert? mexpert?) Jane Butel serving up a bowl full of knowledge with her book, Chili Madness. The second edition has over new 130 chili recipes, which calculates to almost 600 tons of methane gas production. The website, if you dare, is http://www.janebutel.com/.

It's also Day Two of our Super Bowl contest...go to http://www.k107.com/ and make your prediction for a chance to win $107!!
