Thursday 8/20 Live Blog

In our continuing quest to cover every last angle of the Michael Jackson story, we present this image of "what might have been...." Seems MJ was in talks to pick up a regular gig in Las Vegas once his O2 shows wrapped up. As a way of alerting the masses that Jacko was in town, promoters were going to build a 50-foot robot in his likeness to stand guard over the strip. Weekend Buzz moved us around the South Valley to find the fun in our last few unofficial weeks of summer. The Masterpieces of American Photography exhibit continues at The Paine, always a good choice, or find another event at the K107.1 Community Calendar at k107.com.

Dr. Laura Carstensen chatted about how to achieve a lifetime of happiness, health, and financial security. Sounds pretty sweet, no? Pick up her latest book, A Long Bright Future, now in stores or at amazon.com.

K107.1 Relationship Guru Bob Buchicchio told us that separation from a partner can be a good thing, but only if you use the experience to learn and grow. Find more resources and Bob's new DVD counseling series at his website.
