Thursday 5/13 Live Blog

More rain in our South Valley forecast for today. Thank goodness we got Steve Carrell working on that ark almost a month ago. You just never know when something like that will come in handy (as long as Morgan Freeman isn't behind the wheel).

Weekend Buzz took us around the South Valley for a (hopefully) dry weekend full of fun. Check out over 10,000 blooming spring bulbs at The Paine, and a whole list of other fragrant events on the Air-Tech Heating Community Calendar at k107.com.

Co-creator of the bestselling Chic Simple series, Kim Johnson Gross joined us with a look at What to Wear for the Rest of Your Life. A simple guide that details the ageless secrets of style, the book is now in stores.

Support an evening of art and student scholarships at Art Momentum 2010. Professor John Scotello and a few of his students had the details on this year's event, happening tomorrow night from 5 to 9 at the UW-Fond du Lac commons.

Jeff Gravelle was in-studio to help kick off Jon & Mary's Spring Test Drive with Holiday Mazda. Check back to this blog or the K107.1 Facebook page to see the Mazda 6 and Mazda 3 in action around our area. We'll also have your chance to win an iPod full of driving music next week! Details forthcoming...

Relationship expert and NY Times blogger Tara Parker-Pope gave us the secrets behind wedded bliss. For Better: The Science of a Good Marriage solves the mystery of why some relationships succeed while others fail. Makes a great gift for the grouchy spousey in your life.

Brian Carter wrapped up our show with what's fresh at Fond du Lac Seafood. See Brian in person on Main Street downtown, online at fdlseafood.com, or on the cell at 517-TUNA.
