Thursday 5/20 Live Blog

Welcome to Jon & Mary's first annual Take-Your-Weird-Hairy-Uncle-To-Work Day! So far, it's been a rousing success around the office. Uncle Jim has always been good around people. It's the animals we worry about.

Weekend Buzz took us to the hottest of the hotspots around the South Valley. The Paine hosts their Festival of Spring tomorrow, highlighting a full list of events you'll find on the Air-Tech Heating Community Calendar at k107.com.

Editor-in-Chief at Taste of Home magazine, Catherine Cassidy joined us with a look at their latest collection, Taste of Home: The Comfort Food Diet Cookbook. Over 400 recipes, including a 6-week meal plan for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.

A cultural arts district is in the works for downtown Fond du Lac. Kevin Miller from the Windhover gave us the details. Sticking around the downtown, Brian Carter filled our plates with the fresh catch at Fond du Lac Seafood. Call Brian for your Friday take-out orders at 517-TUNA.

Melissa Sue Anderson played the blind daughter Mary Ingalls on Little House on the Prairie. She stopped in to chat about her book that details her 10 years on the show, The Way I See It: A Look Back at My Life on Little House (fun fact: Michael Landon used to force the kids on the show to pick dandelion fuzz out of his mullet). Pick up the book online or in stores.

Do you have an MP3 of Melissa Sue Anderson's interview? I am the webmaster of www.melissasueandersonfan.com and I thought her fans would be interested in listening to it.

Thanks,
Mike
