Friday 7/31 Live Blog

Day 5 of EAA Airventure and another chance to see Capt. Chesley Sullenberger and First Ofc. Jeff Skiles from US Airways 1549 (with non-stop service into the Hudson). They chatted yesterday at Airventure and showed why they are the most inpiring pilots since Ted Striker.

We had a bloody good time talking with Sara Rude about the Mt. Calvary Blood Drive happening this Tuesday. Check out www.givebloodgivelife.org or call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE for more details.

Gwen Jimmere is the author of If It Walks Like a Duck...and Other Truths My Mother Taught Me. A delightful read now available in stores or at Gwen's website.

New in theaters today are Adam Sandler in Funny People and the luminous Ashley Tisdale in Aliens in the Attic. Tony Meade popped in to give us the rundown, and you'll find showtimes at k107.com.
