March comes roaring in like a lion today with...a chance of scattered flurries?!? Very un-lion like (unless you're referring to the always accommodating Detroit Lion, in which case anything "scattered" is perfect). Today also marks the beginning of American Red Cross Month, Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, and Women's History Month. Good times to be had by all.
Lynn from Club Olympia made her monthly visit with scale in hand. The numbers were encouraging, (Jon 217 lbs, 10.9% body fat; Mary 102 lbs, 15.1% body fat) if not a total cause for celebration. Stop in to see Lynn and get your sweat on with classes and fitness memberships.
More fun for green thumbers as the annual Chicago Flower & Garden Show returns to the Navy Pier this weekend. Listen all week for your chance to win tickets.
We celebrate National Pig Day this morning with our friends Babe, Arnold, Wilbur, Porky, and Ned Beatty. Congrats to our winners of some tasty Johnsonville Brats and free H1N1 shots (that rhymes!).
Pro Wrestling comes to Fond du Lac this weekend as NWA Unleashed invades The Shack Sports Bar on Friday night. Check out the action for just $10 at the door. (Special thanks to our in-studio guests for releasing Jon from that sleeper hold in time to finish the show.)
