Tuesday 3/2 Live Blog

Sad news to report this Tuesday morning as it seems our pal C-3PO has given up his New Year's resolution to quit smoking. Unconfirmed reports suggest R2-D2 has also suffered a relapse, as he was spotted indulging in a round of Colt .45s on Lando Calrissian's back porch. Tragic.

Nick 'n Willy's New Release Tuesday brings a pile of new movies and music into our lives. On DVD, pick up the film adaptation of Where the Wild Things Are, John Cusack battles the Mayans in 2012, and the great Paul Giamatti returns in Cold Souls. New albums include drops from Danny Gokey, Shooter Jennings, Lifehouse, Peter Gabriel, and Danny Elfman's Alice in Wonderland soundtrack.

Comedian Kitty Martini joined us with a fun and hopeful look at today's economic times. Her new book, Thank You For Firing Me! offers advice and over 30 pages of resources for those on the hunt for gainful employment.

Our friends Brian Carter & Sarah Cujak stopped by the studio with details on the upcoming Mid-Life Career Change seminar at the Women in Management meeting March 10 at the Ramada Plaza Hotel. Make advance reservations here, or call 920.921.1123.

The Windhover Center for the Arts in downtown Fond du Lac has once again filled our social calendars for the month of March. Kevin Miller from the Windhover gave us the scoop. If you missed any of the info, or to purchase tickets, surf over to the Windhover website.

Jackie Silver from Aging Backwards made her monthly visit with advice on "spring cleaning" for your makeup bag. Jackie's website has a plethora ("...tell me, Jefe, what is a plethora?") of beauty tips to keep you looking your best in every season.
