Wednesday 3/3 Live Blog

On this date in 1931, the U.S. of A. officially adopted the Star-Spangled Banner as its national anthem, making today National Anthem Day! (light applause) In commemoration, we look back at that day in 1990 when Francis Scott Key turned over in his grave as Roseanne peformed his song prior to a San Diego Padres game. Remember kids, the crotch-grab always comes after "...and the home of the brave."

Dr. Jeff Junig joined us to talk feelings. Nothing more than fee-ee-eelings. How to make sense of your feelings when you've reached the breaking point? Convert your sense of being overwhelmed to something more practical -- mad, sad, glad, ashamed, afraid, hurt. See Dr. J online or in person on Main Street in downtown Fond du Lac.

Author Barry Rothman posed an interesting query in his new book, Mary Ann or Ginger: The Dilemma in Every Man's Life and How to Deal With It. As the worlds of relationships and pop culture continue to intersect, Barry claims the problem will only get worse. (Is anyone more of a Lovey Howell guy like Jon? Just wondering...)

K107.1 Petspert Dr. Ann Sosalla gave us an intimate look at parasites in your pet. As fun as they sound, they can actually be quite harmful to your doggie or kitty. Think your pet might be infected? See Dr. Ann and staff at Companion Animal Care in Fond du Lac.

Shidara: The Drums of Japan brings its dynamic stage show to Sheboygan this weekend. Get your tickets for an intense afternoon of live music at the Weill Center on Sunday at 3pm.
